THIS IS SO IMPORTANT
VidCon is the one time the geeks everyone picked on in high school get to be cool. They get to go to exclusive parties and drink, if they choose to. Let them have their moment because it could equally be you someday soon.
Personally, I don’t drink and wouldn’t want to at VidCon, but lots of people do because hey, they rarely get to see their online friends, and it’s normal for them.
Please respect YouTubers’ privacy. After programming hours cameras should be turned off unless everyone is aware and okay with appearing on camera.
They’ll respect your respect of them.

If you’re coming to VidCon, are you doing Disney day, and if so, which type of ticket are you getting? I’d like to get an idea of which park(s) and time(s) people are going to be there.

Scott Widak and his family recently received the greatest gift anyone in their situation could receive — a viral act of encouragement and kindness from complete strangers.
The 47-year-old Widak has Down syndrome and is terminally ill with liver disease. His nephew, Sean O’Connor, turned to the Reddit community to see if anyone would be willing to send his uncle a letter.
“One of my uncle’s favorite things to do is open mail, and I thought that if he got a lot of mail it would cheer him up,” says O’Connor.
The results are astounding, with letters coming in from all over the globe, containing well wishes, artwork, keepsakes, and other mementos.
